Taylorsville Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor who can effectively preach/teach the Word of God. The candidate must also be able to fulfill the spiritual needs of the church through engaging pastoral ministries and effective outreach programs.

Our historic church is located in the rural community of Doswell, Virginia which is about 30 minutes north of Richmond, Virginia. We are a family-oriented church utilizing a traditional worship service. We are associated with the Dover Baptist Association and the Baptist General Association of Virginia. We recognize the gifts and callings of both men and women in ministry and leadership roles in our church.
The church seeks a gifted pastor who:
Is an effective communicator of well-prepared sermons.
Is engaging in pastoral care ministries to meet the needs of our congregation.
Can demonstrate leadership and outreach skills that will inspire others to join our congregation to promote spiritual growth of the church.
Models the traits of a pastor outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
Is a personable leader who will lead by example through Christ-like character, personal integrity and individual discipleship.
Education and Experience
The candidate should have a graduate degree in Divinity or a similar field of study from an accredited seminary and have a minimum of three years of experience as a full-time Pastor, Associate Pastor, Youth Minister and/or Interim Pastor.
