At Taylorsville Baptist Church, we know that our children and youth are the future leaders of our church, community, and world! We believe it's important to instill in them a strong foundation in faith and help them to understand Christ's ultimate sacrifice and love for His children. Giving them opportunities to grow within the church helps them develop their faith with the knowledge that they have a church family to support them every step of the way on their journey.

Head downstairs to our newly renovated nursery where you will find a safe and inviting space for our youngest of friends up to 4 years old! We have two rooms available in order to safely watch our smallest ones in one room and our growing and rambunctious infants in another. We offer volunteer care during both the Sunday School hour and Sunday Worship.
Sunday Morning is Kid's Quest!
Each week, from 10-10:45am, we offer age-appropriate classes for preschoolers through fifth graders.
Pathfinders: Ages 0-4 (nursery)
Explorers: PreK-2nd grades
Trailblazers: 3rd-5th grades​
Children’s Worship: We welcome children of all ages into Sunday worship. Children are an important part of our church family, and their presence enhances service for us all while helping them begin to learn a pattern of worship. After Children’s Time, we invite them to leave the sanctuary for continued, age-appropriate worship activities.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
YOUTH MINISTRY
Once a month, our children spend the whole of our worship hour learning about Christ through service. We allow them to begin taking action in our congregation by gathering, sorting and bagging food for our Feed My Sheep food pantry. This enables them to see first hand how serving others in our community brings the light and love of Christ to others
Each summer, our VBS team brings together an exciting week of fun for children and youth in the community! It's a creative way to introduce younger community members to the life and love of Christ outside of the traditional walls of a worship service. Bible School is 9am-12pm during a selected week of the summer and include an age focused bible study class, recreation, missions, arts/crafts, snack, music, and prayer!
Our Youth Ministry currently meets weekly for Sunday School, and we also plan monthly opportunities for our Youth to fellowship together! We are excited to begin the process of discerning who God might be leading to serve our Church as our Part Time Youth Minister.
